Partners
Eleven organisations from eight countries — vocational schools and colleges, a large VET provider, a university, an ISO-accredited certification body, enterprise and SME associations, a regional tourism board, a technology cluster and an EdTech organisation. Together they bring expertise in culinary and hospitality training, skills research, certification and digital learning — and direct access to food businesses.
Eleven organisations, one plan. The partners meet online every month and in person twice a year, from the kick-off in January 2027 to the Final International Conference in Zagreb in 2029.
Every result led by the partner with the most expertise
GAIA coordinates the alliance and ICEP leads quality assurance. Each strand of work is led by the partner with the strongest expertise in that area, and all partners contribute to every result:
- GAIA
Project management and coordination - ACCELERAS
MOOC, digital learning and the project website - Hotel School
Skills research and occupational profiles - ICEP
Certification and micro-credentials - CIFP La Flora
Curriculum design and learning units - STHEV
Local Hubs and work-based learning - ZCTB
Valorisation, dissemination and policy
The work runs in three overlapping phases: research and design (January – December 2027), development and piloting (July 2027 – April 2029), and validation and legacy (January – December 2029).
The partners meet online every month and in person at transnational partner meetings in Spain, Riga, Vienna and Thessaloniki, ending with the Final International Conference in Zagreb in 2029.

GreenPlate is supported by universities, chambers, regions, sector associations and food producers in the partner countries and beyond. Associated partners take part in research and piloting, offer work-based learning places, give feedback and help spread the results.
