Who can use the GreenPlate results?
Everyone working in or with food and hospitality: VET learners, kitchen and food service professionals, VET teachers and trainers, food businesses and the policymakers who shape vocational training. The MOOC offers three levels — Green Kitchen Assistant (EQF 3), Sustainable Kitchen Technician (EQF 4) and Circular Food Service Manager (EQF 5).
Are the results free?
Yes. All GreenPlate results are free of charge and licensed under the Creative Commons licence CC BY-SA 4.0.
In which languages are the results available?
The main results will be published in English and the eight partner languages: Spanish, German, Latvian, Italian, Slovak, Greek, Croatian and Polish. This website is in English for now; the partner-language versions are being prepared and will be available through the flags at the top of the page.
How does the GreenPlate certification work?
Learners who complete the learning units for a profile can sit an online exam run by ICEP Slovakia, a certification body accredited to ISO/IEC 17024. Each Key Area of Action also earns a micro-credential, and certified learners receive a Europass Certificate Supplement in their language.
How can my organisation get involved?
Answer the employer survey or join a focus group in 2027, offer a work-based learning placement through a Local Hub, take part in the MOOC pilots from August 2028, enter a team in the Green Kitchen Challenge, or support GreenPlate as an associated partner.
